Do you have a project that has been recently completed?  Or an antibody that required a creative approach to identify?  What about the data that is due next week for the Medical Director?

YOU have the beginnings of an Abstract!

The SCABB Annual Meeting is a great opportunity to present original investigations.  Having an abstract accepted at the Annual Meeting is not only an honor but can serve as a nice entry into a CV.  There is no limit to the number of abstracts an individual may submit and it is a great experience to present in oral or poster presentation.  Abstracts are welcome from SCABB Members and non-members and are printed in the Abstract Journal for the year accepted.

Abstract Guidelines

Abstracts may be from any discipline relating to hospitals, donor centers, cellular therapy, or testing laboratories.  Abstracts should be presented for presentation in one of the following formats:

  • Oral – A 10 minute oral presentation by an author plus 5 minutes for Q&A

  • Poster – A visual display not to exceed 4’ x 5’ and not less than 8-1/2” x 11”

The abstracts must be submitted in electronic form reflecting original investigation in the specified format as designated by Objective Methods Results and Conclusion.  See abstract guidelines.

All abstracts are peer reviewed by a panel of committee members to judge the scientific merit of each submission.  There is no guarantee of acceptance but there is a reasonably high acceptance rate of appropriately structured submissions if entered prior to the deadline.
